Love, love, love the park and lodge. Quiet with lots of hiking and fishing.
Food was great and reasonably priced. We ordered chicken tenders and the grilled cheese. It was a late lunch because we were kayaking shortly after. Definitely recommend. Friendly staff in the gift shop and our waitress was great.
The lodge has recently been renovated and the rooms are really nice. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The restaurant area was nice and there is a nice seating area in the lobby with a large fireplace. They’ve also done an amazing job with their hiking trails. Highly recommend checking both the lodge and park out.
We love North Bend. Friendly staff and its close to home. As with all WV state parks the restaurant is great.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The food was absolutely incredible — and the prices were just as impressive. What a bargain for such high-quality meals! Every bite was flavorful and perfectly prepared. The service was just as wonderful. Patience was a true gem — kind, attentive, and patient, which made the whole experience even better. We left completely satisfied and already looking forward to coming back for breakfast tomorrow!
The Lodge is absolutely fantastic. Did not stay in a room, but the restaurant is amazing. The service is great, and the people are so friendly. The food is excellent as well as the view. Highly recommend.
Our family had the suite room and it was fantastic. Every staff member we encountered was great. It offers many amazing activities inside the park for children including a nature center with daily projects/adventures. We definitely will be back.
Did not stay there as was just day-tripping .But the staff treated us like guests. Great location ,great hiking and a miniature golf kids age 4-5-11 enjoyed a lot and a decent playground . Mothers day and the restaurant was filled but they did try to see if they could fit our group of 7 in but the time was later then we wanted . Will camp or stay at lodge next time . As we are only a few hours away we were just checking it out .
